How to find how old your Roblox account is

Roblox records the day every account is created, and the date is public. Roblox’s help article “My Roblox Join Date” (read October 5, 2026) gives three steps: go to your profile by tapping Profile in the navigation menu, scroll to the bottom of the page, and read the join date in the Statistics box. The same steps work on a computer, from the Profile link in the menu. Since the profile redesign of late 2025, players on Roblox’s developer forum report that on some profiles the date sits behind the more link under the bio.

Any account’s profile shows its join date the same way, so you can check someone else’s account from their profile too. Type the date into the box above.

How the calculation works

Everything here runs from one input, the creation date. From it, the checker computes:

  • Calendar age. Full years, then remaining months, then remaining days, the way you would say it. If today's day of the month is earlier than the day you joined, it borrows the length of the previous month.
  • Total days. Elapsed milliseconds divided by 86,400,000 and rounded down: a straight count of midnights since the creation date. The milestones and the status label both run on it.
  • Status label. Total days divided by 365.25: under 1 year is Newcomer, 1 year is Veteran, 5 years is Veteran+, 10 years is Legend, and 15 or more is Ancient. These are this site's labels, not Roblox's.
  • Milestones. Six thresholds in days: 1 year — Veteran badge (365), 2 years (730), 3 years (1,095), 5 years (1,825), 10 years — a decade (3,650), and 15 years (5,475). Each is 365 times the year count, with no leap days.

Worked example: the Roblox account, id 1

The platform's own automated account, username Roblox, is user id 1 and the oldest public account there is. Its public account record, read September 10, 2026, gives a creation time of February 27, 2006, 21:06 UTC. Enter 2006-02-27 on that date and the checker runs this arithmetic:

  • Years: 2026 minus 2006 = 20.
  • Months: September (9) minus February (2) = 7.
  • Days: 10 minus 27 = negative 17, so borrow one month (7 becomes 6) and add August's 31 days: 14.
  • Age: 20 years, 6 months, 14 days.
  • Total days: February 27, 2006 to September 10, 2026 is 7,500 days, leap days included.
  • Status: 7,500 / 365.25 = 20.53 years, so Ancient, with the note "all milestones reached".
  • Milestones: every row shows reached, since 7,500 exceeds the largest threshold of 5,475.

builderman, id 156, created March 8, 2006, comes out at 20 years, 6 months, 2 days, or 7,491 total days.

Why account age matters

  • Veteran badge. Roblox awarded the Veteran badge to accounts that had visited for a year or more. As of September 10, 2026 Roblox’s badge page and its public badge record both describe it as earnable from 2007 to 2026 and retired. Accounts that have it keep it; new ones cannot earn it, so it now marks accounts that turned one before the retirement. The milestone row on this page keeps the historical label.
  • Trust and trading. Older accounts tend to be trusted more in trades and communities, and they're harder to fake.
  • Account value. Age is one input to an account's overall worth. Put the years figure into the age field of the account value calculator, which caps the age bonus at 15 years.
  • OG status. Accounts from the early 2010s (and especially the 2000s) are rare and carry real prestige in the community.

What account age does and does not affect

Account age is easy to over-read. Roblox’s help pages, checked September 10, 2026 (the trading article again on October 5, 2026), gate almost nothing on it:

  • Trading. Roblox’s trading help article names no account-age requirement. Both players need trading and inventory visibility turned on (Account Settings > Privacy & content restrictions > Trading & inventory), must be in a supported region, and need Roblox Plus, except that for a limited time U.S. users can make two free trades a month without it.
  • Voice chat and less-filtered chat. Both depend on an age check of the person (13 or older, by ID verification or facial age estimation), not on account tenure. An age-checked adult on a month-old account qualifies; a fifteen-year-old account without one does not.
  • What age does mark. Which catalog eras the account lived through, whether it holds the retired Veteran badge, and the social weight of an early join date.

Anything not listed we could not verify against a current official page, so it is left out.

Account age and scams

An old join date is not a character reference: a stolen 2009 account run by a scammer looks exactly like one run by its owner. Badges, inventory, and trade history matter more, and the avatar and profile say plenty before you open a trade window. This checker needs only a date; anyone who asks for your password or a login code to "verify" your age is running the oldest trick in the scam playbook, and Roblox's own scam guidance lists lending an account and go-first "trust" deals as things never to do.

The same goes for aged accounts offered for sale. The Roblox Terms of Use state that selling your account or your access credentials to another user is strictly prohibited, and the Community Standards file off-platform transactions for account access under economy fraud. The number this page prints is a fact about a date, not a title deed.

Where exactly is my Roblox join date?

At the bottom of your profile, in the Statistics box, according to Roblox’s help article (read October 5, 2026). On some redesigned profiles, players report it behind the more link under the bio.

Can you look up my age from just my username?

No. This checker works from the date you enter and looks nothing up; why no tool here can search by username is on how our tools work. The date is on your profile, and it takes a few seconds to copy.

What counts as an "OG" Roblox account?

There's no official cutoff, but the community generally treats accounts made before roughly 2013–2015 as OG, with pre-2010 accounts considered rare. The Veteran badge (1+ year) was the only age milestone Roblox formally recognized, and it was retired in 2026.

Does a higher user ID mean a newer account?

Generally yes — Roblox assigns user IDs sequentially, so a lower ID means an earlier account. It's a rough guide, not an exact date, which is why this checker uses your real creation date instead.

Why does the 10-year milestone show before my tenth anniversary?

Milestones are counted at 365 days per year, so "10 years" triggers at 3,650 days, two or three leap days short of the calendar anniversary. The calendar age at the top of the tool is exact.

Is the Veteran badge still being awarded?

No. As of September 10, 2026 Roblox's badge page describes it as earnable from 2007 to 2026 and retired. Accounts that hold it keep it; newer accounts cannot earn it.
