Short version

BloxToolbox does not ask you to sign in, create an account, or hand over an email address. Two kinds of data exist: local data we store on your own device (theme, favorites, share-link state) and advertising data that third-party ad vendors collect when you visit pages that show ads. This page explains both.

Local data we store on your device

We use your browser's localStorage to remember:

  • Your dark / light theme preference.
  • Tools you've favorited.
  • The list of tools you've recently used (to show on the landing page).
  • Calculator inputs the next time you open the same calculator (so share links work).

This data never leaves your device. We can't see it from our side. You can clear it any time through your browser's site-data controls (Settings → Privacy → Site data on most browsers).

Cookies and third-party advertising

BloxToolbox itself does not set first-party cookies. However, this site shows advertising served by third-party vendors, and those vendors may set cookies under their own domains:

  • Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
  • Google may use the DoubleClick DART cookie to serve ads to our visitors. Read more about how Google uses cookies in advertising, and how to opt out, in Google's Ads Privacy & Terms.
  • Other third-party advertising vendors and ad networks may also use cookies and similar technologies on this site to deliver and measure advertising. These vendors disclose their own data-handling practices in their privacy policies.

How to opt out of personalized advertising

You can opt out of Google's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info. EU residents can additionally use youronlinechoices.com.

If you would prefer no advertising cookies at all, you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings. Some pages may still show ads, but those ads will be non-personalized.

No personalized advertising cookies are set on this site today: advertising consent signals are denied by default via Consent Mode v2, and no ad cookies are used without consent. Before any advertising serves to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a Google-certified Consent Management Platform will ask for your permission first and let you change your choices at any time.

Analytics

BloxToolbox uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages get visited and how visitors move through the site. Google Analytics sets cookies under the google-analytics.com domain. Data is used in aggregate only — we do not attempt to identify individual visitors.

The Google Analytics integration is configured with IP anonymization on and Consent Mode v2 enabled. Advertising-related signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are denied by default and stay denied. The cookie notice shown on this site is informational only — it does not set advertising cookies or record a consent choice. When advertising is enabled for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent flow will manage these choices. Analytics measurement is granted by default under legitimate-interest grounds; you can opt out at any time using the methods below.

To opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit, install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on. To opt out on this site specifically, block third-party cookies in your browser or use the add-on above — either fully stops analytics measurement here.

Your privacy rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live — including the EEA and UK under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — you have rights over personal data, including:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data held about you.
  • Correction — have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Deletion — have your personal data deleted.
  • Objection and restriction — object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Portability — receive data you provided in a machine-readable format.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing (CCPA) — we do not sell personal information; the advertising opt-outs above cover cross-context sharing by ad vendors.
  • Non-discrimination — exercising these rights never changes how the site works for you.

BloxToolbox has no accounts and stores no personal data on our side, so most requests are satisfied by clearing your browser's site data and using the ad and analytics opt-outs above. Data collected by third-party vendors such as Google is controlled by those vendors — their privacy policies explain how to exercise these rights with them directly. For anything else, email hello@bloxtoolbox.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

BloxToolbox is intended for older Roblox players (teenagers and adults). The site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, because we do not collect personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy materially changes — adding a new third-party vendor, an analytics product, or a new data-handling practice — the "last updated" date at the top will move and a notice will go on the blog index.
