Privacy policy.

Short version

BloxToolbox does not ask you to sign in, create an account, or hand over an email address. Two kinds of data exist: local data we store on your own device (theme, favorites, share-link state) and advertising data that third-party ad vendors collect when you visit pages that show ads. This page explains both.

Local data we store on your device

We use your browser's localStorage to remember:

• Your dark / light theme preference.
• Tools you've favorited.
• The list of tools you've recently used (to show on the landing page).
• Calculator inputs the next time you open the same calculator (so share links work).

This data never leaves your device. We can't see it from our side. You can clear it any time through your browser's site-data controls (Settings → Privacy → Site data on most browsers).

Cookies and third-party advertising

BloxToolbox itself does not set first-party cookies. The site shows no advertising today. It may carry advertising served by third-party vendors later; if it does, those vendors may set cookies under their own domains:

• Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
• Google may use the DoubleClick DART cookie to serve ads to our visitors. Read more about how Google uses cookies in advertising, and how to opt out, in Google's Ads Privacy & Terms.
• Other third-party advertising vendors and ad networks may also use cookies and similar technologies on this site to deliver and measure advertising. These vendors disclose their own data-handling practices in their privacy policies.

How to opt out of personalized advertising

You can opt out of Google's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info. EU residents can additionally use youronlinechoices.com.

If you would prefer no advertising cookies at all, you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings. Some pages may still show ads, but those ads will be non-personalized.

Consent for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

For visitors in these regions, advertising consent signals are denied by default via Consent Mode v2, and no ad cookies are used without consent. Google's Funding Choices — a Google-certified Consent Management Platform — loads alongside the advertising library on every page that can serve ads. When advertising is enabled, visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be asked for permission before any personalized advertising cookie is set, and will be able to change that choice at any time from the same prompt.

Analytics

BloxToolbox uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages get visited and how visitors move through the site. Google Analytics sets cookies under the google-analytics.com domain. Data is used in aggregate only — we do not attempt to identify individual visitors.

The Google Analytics integration is configured with IP anonymization on and Consent Mode v2 enabled. For visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, analytics_storage and the advertising-related signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are denied by default, so no analytics or advertising cookie is set unless you accept through Google's Funding Choices consent prompt. Everywhere else, analytics and advertising signals are granted by default; you can opt out at any time using the methods below.

Your privacy rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live — including the EEA and UK under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — you have rights over personal data, including:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data held about you.
• Correction — have inaccurate data corrected.
• Deletion — have your personal data deleted.
• Objection and restriction — object to or restrict certain processing.
• Portability — receive data you provided in a machine-readable format.
• Opt out of sale or sharing (CCPA) — we do not sell personal information; the advertising opt-outs above cover cross-context sharing by ad vendors.
• Non-discrimination — exercising these rights never changes how the site works for you.

BloxToolbox has no accounts and stores no personal data on our side, so most requests are satisfied by clearing your browser's site data and using the ad and analytics opt-outs above. Data collected by third-party vendors such as Google is controlled by those vendors — their privacy policies explain how to exercise these rights with them directly. For anything else, email contact@bloxtoolbox.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children and mixed audiences

The games this site writes about — Adopt Me, Blox Fruits, Pet Simulator 99, Grow a Garden — have large under-13 player bases, and the site says so in its own essays. BloxToolbox is not those games: what it publishes is trade-value analysis, marketplace-tax and DevEx arithmetic, probability math, and long-form economics writing, and the people who need that are mostly teenagers and adults. But it would be dishonest to claim no under-13 player ever opens a Blox Fruits value list. So BloxToolbox is treated as a mixed-audience site rather than an adults-only one, and handled accordingly:

• There is no account, login, comment box, upload, forum, or form of any kind on this site. No personal information is collected from any visitor, of any age, because none is collected at all.
• In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, advertising consent signals are denied by default under Consent Mode v2 and no advertising cookie is set without consent; ads are switched off entirely, everywhere, on the error page and on the contact, privacy, terms and disclaimer pages.
• Nothing here sells Robux or items, links to a resale marketplace, or carries an affiliate link. The standing advice on every trading page is that free-Robux offers and Robux generators are scams without exception.
• A parent or guardian with a concern can email contact@bloxtoolbox.com. Because the site stores nothing about visitors, the honest answer to a deletion request is normally that there is nothing held to delete.

Changes to this policy

If this policy materially changes — adding a new third-party vendor, an analytics product, or a new data-handling practice — the "last updated" date at the top will move and a notice will go on the blog index.
